College Scholarship Application Form
All Tri City Area high school students going to the college are eligible. There will be one $500 scholarship given to each grade - freshman through senior in high school.
This is an essay scholarship. The topic is "What Can I Do to Substantially Reduce the Cost of Attending College". The entry should be approximately 1,500 to 2,000 words. It will be scored and judged on grammar, writing scale and the strategies presented. Strategies that have the greatest savings and ability to be implemented will be given weight in scoring.
It is our hope that in applying for this scholarship that you will learn some practical ways that can be implemented in reducing the cost of your college planning.
The earliest date for entry is February 1st of 2009 and the last day is May 1st, 2009.
Winners will be announced by June 1st of 2009.
